Baseball fans and corporate sponsors can cheer on the Windy City Thunderbolts on July 27 while supporting local healthcare workers.
Franciscan Health of South Suburban Chicago is hosting its Home Team Healthcare Champions Night on July 27 at Ozinga Field, 14011 S. Kenton Ave. In Crestwood, Illinois for the Employee Welfare Fund.
Health care workers may fail to provide adequate care for their mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs while caring for others. The Staff Wellbeing Fund helps staff manage and cope with burnout while improving care delivery and provides opportunities for mental escape that encourages alertness, creativity and relaxation.

Home Team Healthcare Hero Night will include entertainment by the Strawdawg Band as well as post-game fireworks, access to a kids area, opportunities to ride a mechanical bull, a raffle on a bowl and a 90-minute all-you-can-eat buffet with hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks and water. Vegetarian options will be available along with the cash bar and private party decks.
Gates open at 4pm and first show at 6:05pm. Tickets are $25 through June 30 and $30 starting July 1.

The first 200 people to enter the stadium with Home Team Healthcare Hero Night tickets will receive a swag bag containing items provided by the event sponsors.
Sponsorship opportunities ranging from $500 to $10,000 are available online through July 8. Sponsorship includes the opportunity to have an in-game information booth, the provision of promotional materials for loot bags, as well as various types of recognition based on sponsorship level. Sponsorship includes game and buffet tickets, with the number of tickets corresponding to the level of sponsorship.
