Chicago (WLS) – JB Pritzker Governor took the platform on Tuesday afternoon in minutes of President Donald Trump's deadline for federal circuits to stop spending on financial aid programs, which the ruler said was not discovered until 24 hours later.

However, within minutes of the White House trying to freeze billions of dollars in grants and federal loans, a federal judge temporarily prevented freezing.

This freezing was a source of confusion for many organizations that depend on federal funding and American millions who rely on these organizations.

Agencies are required to comply with spending on any programs they believe in contradiction with Trump's recent executive orders about the diversity of diversity, shares, integration, external aid, and climate spending, among other things.

The Trump administration claims that federal dollars that go directly to individuals, such as Medicare, will not be affected.

“This does not affect any service that the government requires to provide. It does not affect any entitlement, does not affect any service for citizens,” said Stephen Miller, the White House Vice President, said.

“This is not a stop of a blanket on federal assistance in grant programs from the Trump administration. Individual assistance that includes, I do not call everything that has been included, but only to give you some examples, the benefits of social security, the benefits of medical care, food stamps and Caroline Levitte said the secretary The White House journalist:

Despite those assurances, Pritzker says that the Medicaid system has decreased on Tuesday in Illinois and other states throughout the country.

“I think it is my duty to inform you about the truth of what actually happened today in Illinois.

Pritzker said this is not a coincidence, and that what Trump is trying to do is illegal.

“The consequences of their actions are not hypothetical,” said Pritzker

Illinois is among 22 states in addition to Washington, DC, who are being charged by the Trump administration, on the pretext that the president has overcome his authority as a president by depriving the money allocated by Congress.

“It is improper. It is illegal. It is unconstitutional. It is immoral,” said Di Ellius, “The president cannot cut programs from one side or change the priorities of the spending that the people and Congress have set.”

Now, organizations across the country and in Illinois, which depend on federal financing, must also depend on checks and balances.

EL Valor, a non -profit organization in the Chicago region, supports children, persons with disabilities, and their families. CEO Jillian Gonzales says two -thirds of their financing comes from the federal government.

“We are thinking about the worst scenario at this stage as an institution, as much as we go to our bones to ensure that our employees have their salaries because they are concerned and they are part of this economy, then how can our families reach the services they need strongly?” Gonzales said.

Illinois is among 22 states in addition to Washington, DC, who are being charged by the Trump administration, on the pretext that the president has overcome his authority.

John Palarr, President and CEO of the AIDS in Chicago, says the organization's task is two parts – to finish HIV and end homelessness.

Both fossils affect incompatiblely to people with color.

“We know that when people who live with HIV are unstable. They cannot take medications to manage HIV,” said Belar.

According to Ballar, 80 % of their financing comes from the federal government. But Belar said, to the organization's warning, they could not reach that money on Tuesday.

“We went to verify the gate that we reach to download federal scholarships. Like going to your bank, and suddenly, he said,” banned. “

Congress member Mike Kogeli, De Enes, says the president has no power to disrupt such funding.

“These are money that has been declared, allocated and signed in the law,” Kwigley said.

Federal judge Lauren L. Alejhan prevents the administration from being paid to freeze federal financing on Tuesday.

Kwigley, a member of the sub -committee for credits in the House of Representatives on transportation and housing, says the money committed, like $ 2 billion to expand the Red CTA line, cannot be suspended.

“On the next day of the elections, I called the Governor Pritzker and Dorval Carter and said that you should sign this deal immediately,” said Kwigley.

Earlier on Tuesday, the potential effect of freezing the grant on Chicago prompted strong words from Mayor Brandon Johnson.

Johnson said: “This is what I know: The federal government is responsible for ensuring that every resident in this country receives a great deal of investments to ensure vitality in addition to the ability to follow happiness under our constitution,” Johnson said.

As for the temporary residency issued by a federal judge, a hearing on this case will be determined on Monday.

The judge indicated that the launch of Trump's new policy was chaotic.
