The properly conducted external assistance can provide our national interests, protect our borders, and enhance our partnerships with the main allies. Unfortunately, the American Agency for International Development has moved away from its original mission for a long time. As a result, the gains were very few and the costs were very high.
Thanks to President Trump, this misleading and financially responsible era has now ended. We re -direct our external assistance programs to comply directly with what is better for the United States and our citizens. We continue to save basic life and are conducting strategic investments that enhance our partners and our country. This is another promise that was presented to the American people.
Note: Today, the US Department of State and the International Development Agency (the US Agency for the US Development) informed Congress of their intention to reorganize that would involve the reorganization of some of the US Agency for International Development to the administration by July 1, 2025, and to stop the US Agency for the remaining International Development Agency that is not in line with the priorities of the administration.
