CHICAGO (WLS) — A child and a man were shot and seriously injured inside a South Side home Monday evening, Chicago police said.

Police said the shooting happened in the 11600 block of West Pullman on South Yale Street just after 9 p.m.
Police said a 7-year-old boy and a 27-year-old man were at a home when someone inside a white Audi fired shots from the street.
The child was shot in the back and wounded in the head, and was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in critical condition.
The man, who was shot in the chest and arm, was taken to Christ Hospital in critical condition.
No one is in custody and 2nd District detectives are investigating. Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
