Dr. Susan Buchanan, clinical professor of environmental and occupational health sciences at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Public Health, is leading a study of fishermen and health in our general area and around Lake Michigan.
I attended a personal event she hosted on the South Side at The Green Living Room, a wonderful venue, in February. She leads a very comprehensive and wonderful outlook. Her studies are serious about health and fishing.
