The new Annie Tour kicks off in Chicago on November 12
The 2024-2025 tour will take place at Madison Square Garden in December before continuing to visit more than 20 cities.
Caroline Rossi Copeland Productions Inc. and Crossroads Live, the new North American tour of the Tony Award-winning musical “Annie,” which hits the Chicago Theater from November 12 to December 1 before arriving at the Manhattan Theater at Madison Square Garden from December 4, 2024 to January 5, 2025.
Hazel Vogel, a 12-year-old from Maryland who was recently seen in the North American tour of Les Misérables, stars in the title role, joined by Stephanie Londino as Miss Hannigan, Christopher Swann as Oliver Warbucks, and Julia Nicole Hunter in Grace and Mark's turn. Woodard as Roosevelt, Rhett Gotter as Rooster, and Isabella De Souza Moore as Lily St. Regis, as well as Kevin, a seven-year-old Labradoodle from Georgia, as Sandy.
The orphans are played by Aria Valentina Aldea, Eva Lisette Carrion, Anna Delon, Kylie Noelle Patterson, Olive Ross Klein, and Nora West, while the ensemble will include Steven Cerf, Anthony DaSilva, Savannah Fisher, Aloria Fraser, and Brooke Olivia Gatto. Caroline Glazier, Ryan Mulvaney, Joel Newsom, Melinda Barrett, Lawrence Street E, Drew Tanabe, and Stephanie Wahl.
As previously reported, EGOT Award winner Whoopi Goldberg will play Miss Hannigan in the New York City engagement. Goldberg will begin performing on December 11 and run only until the end of the New York City run. (Avril Kagan will also join the cast as an alternate for the New York run.)

Gene Thompson, who took on the role of Pepper in the original Broadway production of Annie at the age of 10, is directing the tour, having handled the same duties for the musical's 2022-2023 tour. The production also features choreography by Patricia Wilcox, orchestration by Dan Delange, musical supervision by Matthew Smedal, music orchestration by Talitha Fehr, musical direction by Andrew David Sotomayor, scenic design by Wilson Chen, costume design by Alejo Vitti, and lighting design based on the designs. by Philip Rosenberg, sound design by Ken Travis, hair and wig design by Ashley Rae Callahan, and acting by Paul Hardt of Hardt Casting.
The tour's stage management team is led by production stage manager Nicole Diderot, stage manager Brigham Johnson, and assistant stage manager Tara Tolar Payne.
Annie, which premiered on Broadway in 1977, features a score by Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin and a book by Thomas Meehan. Based on the Depression-era newspaper sitcom, the musical focuses on the spunky character and her journey from the orphanage to the luxurious Warbucks mansion. Annie won seven 1977 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The family-friendly musical has been revived on Broadway twice, in 1997 and 2012.
