Washington, DC – according to President Donald J. Trump, the Ministry of Interior is proud to announce the implementation of the restorations of the names that honor the legacy of the American greatness, with efforts already underway.
According to the directives of the president, the Gulf of Mexico will be officially known as the Gulf of America and the highest summit in North America will bear the name of Mount McKinley again. These changes again confirm the nation's commitment to preserving the exceptional heritage of the United States and ensuring that future generations of Americans celebrate the heritage of its heroes and historical origins.
The US Council is working on geographical names, under the Ministry of Interior, urgently to update the official federal designations in the geographical names system to reflect these changes, immediately for federal use.
The Gulf of America
The Gulf of America, previously known as the Gulf of Mexico, is one of the most important assets in the history and economy of the nation. It spanned more than 1700 miles from the American coast and includes approximately 160 million acres, and the Gulf was an important artery for trade and energy production in America, and marine industries.
One of its rich fisheries, which lead local economies, to its wide reserves of oil and natural gas that fed innovation and prosperity, was the Gulf of America constantly the cornerstone of the nation's growth. Its ports were arranged between the largest and most impressive in the world, as it links American goods to global markets. In order to realize the permanent contributions in the Gulf in the economic power of the United States and the vitality of the United States, President Trump's guidance emphasizes its central importance to the nation by formally rename it in the Gulf of America.
Mount McKinley
Mount McKinley, the highest summit in North America, stands as a memorial for the strength and design of President William McKinley, the twenty -fifth president of the United States. President McKinley has led the heroic nation to victory in the Spanish -American war, which strengthens an era of rapid economic growth and regional gains of the nation. The assassination of tragedy while he was in office, the leadership of President McKinley and her sacrifice is still a testament to American flexibility and success.
In 1917, the country officially honored President McKinley by naming the highest summit in North America. However, nearly a century after a century, President Obama administration, in 2015, stripped the name McKinley of federal designations, insulting the life of President McKinley, his achievements, and his sacrifice. The decision to restore the peak to its historical name is a meaningful recognition of President McKinnie's permanent legacy.
Commitment to inheritance
The Ministry of Interior remains committed to supporting all aspects of President Trump's executive order, ensuring that the names we use reflect the values, sacrifices and achievements that define our nation.
