Chicago (WLS) – Officials said that two employees were injured in a stabbing accident at South Said Hospital on Monday afternoon.
The Chicago Police responded to the Broadcast Hospital on East East 51 Street in the Bronziville neighborhood on East Street 51 after one in the afternoon, that the accident occurred in the emergency department.

The international service staff of the local federation 73, which represents hundreds of hospital workers in the Cook County system, said the victims include a doctor and one of its members, who works as an assistant to the doctor.
The officials said a male patient brought out a sharp body and stabbed the doctor, a 56 -year -old man, in the chest area.
The police said the doctor was transferred to the University of Chicago Medical Center, a shock center, in a fair condition.
Officials did not immediately provide details about the doctor's assistant injuries.
It is expected that both victims will be well, and the hospital said that its security team was acting quickly, but what led to the appeal was not immediately clear.
The patient has been detained, and investigators are investigated in the area.

The representative of the national nurses told ABC7 that the injured workers are not nurses, but added that violence is already increasing, and that they are fighting for safer conditions.
