Dilayer picks up a long and slow look as the United States slides SS in the past
Watch the SS United Stats as hundreds of Delawarians did, where the Dilayer River channel is approaching the beach in the Fox Point Government Park, where the lining of the old ocean began its journey to its final destination: as an artificial reef off Florida, Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
I am not a naval person, although I have been lucky for a long time to take a cruise in the Greek islands.
Most of my holidays are wild flights, but I like to know previous ages of the plane, train and travel.
I enjoyed checking an ancient passenger plane at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, and a tour of the Pullman train in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Manchester, and Vermont; And the acquisition of an estimate of an era in the sailor (albeit not the steeped part) when the “Titanic” exhibition came to the Franklin Institute.
My brother Christian, however, is enthusiastic about cruise ships. Thus, for years, I was aware of the efforts I made to save the United States of America, which spent decades I felt from IKEA in Philadelphia.
“The ship, which has an area of 50,000 tons, is the largest peripheral lining built in the United States and the last they are still floating, and the miracle of engineering on its first journey in 1952, designed to be” disgustable “by South Feli William Francis Gibbs, the reporter Matthew Corfa wrote when we started following the story that was purchased with excellent charging by a province in every Vellaid And indicate this.
The ship that has not retained one record is now scheduled, but two of the speed records across the Atlantic Ocean is now home to any marine life with inspiration at the same time, the tourism industry in the depths of the seas in Oblosa Province on the western beach of Sunshine.
The reporter, Shannon Marvel McKenot, has followed this story now, as he worked with our sister's paper in Florida to cover each step from the step of the process and the many delays, as the ship was prepared for its last trip. She was compatible with dozens of people whose lives were affected by this great ship, whether they sailed on board, turned almost from her heels, or worked hard to save her.
Unless I realized it when we started to follow this story of the ship, known locally as Feli Titanic and “IKEA”, is that my stallions have once started its bones, (and the floors of it, and slept in its cabin and eating in its food rooms.
My brother lives in a house owned by our great ancestors, then our great aunt and our uncle, who saved both photographs and other souvenirs of their journey.
On Thursday, June 8, 1961, the ship sailed east of New York heading to Havre, France; Southampton, England; Permirefen, Germany. Although we cannot be sure, my brother believes that they were on board the plane all the way to Bremerfen because their potential destination in Europe would be Poland, where our ancestors were.
Looking at these pictures was a great gift and inspired me as I edited stories and packages in the United States of America. It is amazing to return in time and see the relatives who have this great adventure together. While they were lucky enough to be able to travel internationally more than once, they were not rich and lived otherwise, very calm and special and economic life.
I don't see any cruise in my near future, most of them do not tempt me, although I will admit these Viking commercials while watching “all wonderful and small creatures” make me dream sometimes.
But I feel lucky because I regained this trip in time with Matthew, with Shannon, with our peers in Northwest Florida Daily News, and with our photographers who seized the “American pioneer” while making her way to her last place.
Like my brother, I am sad because she had to go. It was amazing to see her turned into a floating museum, hotel, or repetition in a way that benefited from society above water. But coral reefs are also important at this time from the high levels of sea surface and coral man who dies, and thus guarantees stable local economies.
Bon Voyage, SS USA. I hope you lie in peace.
