In the spring of 2025, Navy Pier welcomes a dynamic collection of artistic events, culture and entertainment that highlights the richness of the creative scene in Chicago and the vitality of its societies. From overwhelming exhibits to live music and cultural festivals, this distinctive destination of the lake presents something for everyone.
Chicago Bridge: A new air attraction
Open now, Flyover Chicago is the exciting Navy Pier appeal throughout the year. This overwhelming experience uses advanced drone technology and air filming to give guests a breathtaking tour on the Chicago horizon, iconic monuments, and vibrant neighborhoods-from an exciting bird view.
Chicago Shakespeare: The Day of Judgment
From April 23 to May 26, the Chicago Shakespeare Theater performs the first world performance of the day of referee, a dark comic play starring Jason Alexander. The story explores morals, salvation and the consequences of our options – with sudden intelligence and emotional depth.
Chicago: a house house – the fortieth anniversary exhibition
The opening of the “Chicago: Home of House” exhibition on May 1, celebrates the pioneering role of the city in the creation of home music. This exhibition hosts multimedia, which was hosted in cooperation with the Chicago Design Museum and House Vintage House Collective.
The celebration continues until the summer with the Navy Pier Open Air concerts series, as it was launched on May 10 with the title of the DJ Black Coffee award -winning DJ Black Coffee. The Wave Wall Wax DJ series will include local talents every Saturday from May 25 to August 31.
Mexico Fest & Lakefront Loop 5K
From 3 to 5 May, Mexico brings at the Festival of Voices, flavors and traditions for Mexican countries such as Chihuaua, Nayarit, and Querétaro to Navy Pier. The festival includes live cultural shows, original Mexican cuisine, and a craftsman with handmade goods.
On May 5, the participants can be attached to LakeFront Loop 5K, which is a fun self -flying operation that fully flying along the scenic Navy Pier path. Registration supports continuous cultural programming in the sidewalk.
Navy Pier Fireworks & New Msymber
Starting from the weekend memorial, summer fireworks return at Navy Pier every Wednesday and Saturday during Labor Day. Each show is set on dynamic musical themes, including the spotlight on Chicago House music.
This season also represents the launch of The Navy Pier Passport, a new organic program that provides privileges such as reduced car parks, free passes for Centennial, and exclusive access to events. Membership revenue helps in financing free general programming of the sidewalk throughout the year.
