Shooting on Chicago: A woman was shot, she was killed on the CTA Red Line platform on Street 69 at a large crossing, the police say

Chicago (WLS) – Chicago police said a woman was shot on the CTA Red Line platform on the southern side on Tuesday night.

The shooting took place at about 9:46 pm at Street Station 69 in the Grand Grand Crossing neighborhood.

Police said that two women were fighting when one of them took out a pistol and shot the other in the neck before taking off.

The victim, approximately 25-35 years old, was transferred to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where her death was announced.

No one in reservation and the region is one of the investigators who investigate.
