CHICAGO (CBS) — At least one person was killed and 13 others were injured in weekend shooting incidents across the city as of Monday morning, according to Chicago police.
The victims' ages range from 18 to 58 years.
Shooting from Friday
In the first shooting incident of the weekend, a 44-year-old man was getting out of his car shortly before 5:30 p.m. in the 8100 block of South Lafayette Street when an unknown person inside a white SUV fired shots in his direction and then left the scene. In an unknown direction.
The victim was shot in the upper right leg and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition.
Hours later, a 19-year-old man was in an alley around 7:40 p.m. in the 4600 block of North Kedzie Street when shots were fired. He was admitted to Swedish Covenant Hospital with a gunshot wound to his right leg and was in good condition.
An 18-year-old man was getting out of a car around 9:30 p.m. in the 6800 block of South Michigan Avenue when shots were fired. He was dropped off at the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition with a gunshot wound to his right foot

Shooting from Saturday
At 3:37 a.m. in the 4300 block of West North Street, a 44-year-old man was arguing with another person when he was shot in the lower body. He was transported himself to Mount Sinai Hospital and is in good condition.At 6:30 PM in the 11500 block of South St. Lawrence Street, a 21-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk when shots were fired. The victim went to Community Hospital in Munster, Indiana, and was in good condition after being shot in the right arm. At 8:44 PM in the 1500 block of West 80th Street, a 51-year-old woman got into an altercation with a known male who pulled out a gun and fired shots inside an apartment. Fire crews transported the victim to Christ Hospital. He is in good condition, suffering from a gunshot wound to his left leg.
Shooting from Sunday
At 3:30 a.m. in the 5200 block of West Fulton Street, a 21-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk when someone in a white SUV opened fire. The victim was taken to West Suburban Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound to his left leg. At 3:35 p.m., a 33-year-old man was inside a car in the 3400 block of West Fifth Avenue in East Garfield Park when he was shot in the stomach and hand. The victim was transported himself to Stroger Hospital of Cook County in good condition. At 5:30 p.m., a 33-year-old man was riding in a car in the 4400 block of South Sacramento Street in Brighton Park when he was shot in the leg. The man was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
At 9:40 p.m., officers found a man in the 3300 block of West Adams Street in East Garfield Park with a gunshot wound to the neck. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in Cook County in critical condition.
Shooting from Monday
At 1 a.m. in the 7900 block of South Cottage Grove, a 58-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk when another man opened fire. The victim returned home and went to Stroger a few hours later with a gunshot wound to his right leg and was in good condition. At 1:30 a.m. in the 2000 block of South Paulina Street, Two 32-year-old men got into an altercation with a 25-year-old man On the sidewalk. During this, individuals began exchanging gunfire and hitting each other. Firefighters transported the 25-year-old to Stroger Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, where he died. A 32-year-old was taken to Stroger in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The other 32-year-old was also taken to Stroger in good condition with a gunshot wound to his left arm.
Unless noted, no arrests have been made in either shooting.
