Illinois drivers will face a new condition for their licenses as the state returns back against the dispersed leadership.
Under the provisions of the “One Road, One Focus” campaign, Illinois drivers in Illinois will be asked to watch a video clip saying, “Details of the consequences of dangerous driving behaviors.”
Illinois Foreign Office said that the new video requirements, along with other elements of the “One Road, One Focus” campaign, will be revealed at a press event on Tuesday in Chicago.
According to a press release, nearly 3,300 people were killed and more than 300,000 were injured in car accidents involved in dispersal drivers, citing data from the National Traffic Safety Administration on highways.
Under the provisions of the new program, the new video will be asked to watch for teenagers who have received the learner's permits, and it should be seen before they can obtain their driver's license.
In addition to the new video requirements, the program will also include Billboard ads designed to increase awareness of dispersed driving behaviors, as well as special enforcement efforts by law enforcement to eliminate dispersed leadership, according to the press statement.
Foreign Minister Alexei Gianolias revealed the outline of the program in October, but it is now about full in conjunction with the month of awareness of the dispersed leadership, which is observed every April.
“Tragicly tragicly, the dispersed driving is drunk in our time,” Gianolias said at a press conference in October 2024, along with a mother of her 14 -year -old daughter at the hands of a driver. “The driver is more likely to participate in a car accident during text messages instead of driving while poisoning.”
According to Gianaolias Office, Illinois Police will coordinate with the Minister of Foreign Affairs to carry out patrols in high -level areas to combat dispersed leadership.
A new grant program will also be created that helps law enforcement agencies to target awareness campaigns that distract her in their societies.
