Some Democrats in Illinois are doing their best to continue to pressure the Trump administration, hoping to make change.
The focus was on the Milwoki Avenue corridor, which is home to a number of small companies. Many people feel a tariff in the hope that the work will be done soon.
In the family's Magnifico coffee in Avondale, everything is about a large cup of atmosphere.
“Coffee is part of a heritage. I am a Colombian. So, we grew up drinking coffee,” said Angelika Ospido-Vrent, who is the royal participating in Magnifico.
But the tariff related to the specialized beans it imports from South America means that the troubles are brewing for their business, as their costs are about 10 percent.
“We lose our budget a little, but we are trying to get rid of as much as possible, to pass any additional cost to our customers. Because we know, as you know, like coffee, as you know, this is necessary, but we do not want to make it very expensive.”
“The coffee is great, and the cakes are better,” said Dick Debine.

After the cafe stopped, Durbin, Deliah Ramirez and others walked on Milwaukee Street, and visited many other small companies, to learn about the impact of definitions.
“A tariff is definitely a tariff,” said Alan Yunin, who owns the Chinese Chinese.
Yun Restaurant was established by his father decades ago.
The tariff war with China reaches the home, with the high prices of sauces and food.
“We are afraid that in the very near future, the price will be more than twice. How will we stay alive?” Yuen said.
Democrats in Congress say they will continue to decline.
“I think pressure, talks and city halls are working,” said Ramirez, a democratic representing Chicago and Western suburbs.
“People understand that this is a change that can be a loss of jobs at the beginning of the recession. So, I think the reverse reaction leads to the thinking of some Republicans twice to follow the Maga line,” Durbin said.
While Democrats do what they can to influence things in Washington, business owners see economic fluctuations, in the hope of stability, so that they can focus on what they do better: serving their customers.
