The American relationship with Thailand is one of the oldest Indian Pacific region. The two countries have shared friendly and diplomatic relations for more than 190 years. Thailand is one of the five allies in the United States in the Indian Pacific region and still is a long -term security partner and a leader in Southeast Asia.

During their stay in Thailand, nearly 7,500 sailors of the Carrier Strike One group participated in cultural stock exchanges, societal relations events, sponsorship, care and pastoral entertainment to enhance cultural understanding and cooperation between the two countries.
