CHICAGO (CBS) – Four men were shot inside an adult entertainment venue on Chicago's Near West Side overnight.
Police said the shooting happened after a fight inside the Deja Vu Showgirls lounge, at 750 South Clinton Street, shortly after 3:30 a.m.
The Chicago Fire Department confirmed that three men were taken to Stroger and Northwestern hospitals in good condition, and a fourth man was taken to Northwestern in critical condition.
The victims' ages range between 26 and 35 years.
No one was arrested.
Eyewitness Luke Zapolsky described “chaos” at the scene as he left the nearby train station.
“There were dozens of cars, police cars circling the street, sirens everywhere, and people screaming and running out of the club,” he said.
Rep. Jason Ervin (28), whose ward includes Deja Vu, said his office will work with the Chicago Police Department “to address the ongoing issues at this location,” including a possible summary closure order requiring the business to remain closed until it submits an approved action plan to address safety concerns.
“He will work closely with the community, the Chicago Police Department and others to ensure public safety is a priority,” Irvin's office said in a statement.
