The survey causes panic and confusion for many federal workers, who are wondering whether this effort is to get rid of more than just test staff who were the target of laid off the last workers.
All this comes at a time when the administration of President Donald Trump is looking to sell a number of government -owned buildings, including a couple in Chicago.
Some people working in the Federal Kluczynski building were walking on the eggshell on Monday morning.
A 40 -year -old veterans of the Treasury, which lasted for the camera, did not want to go to the camera, but he called the current climate “overwhelming and painful”.
Through Jackson Street in the Metcalfe building, which includes the offices of the 5th district of the Environmental Protection Agency, the employees are informed that they have to respond to the email sent during the weekend that asked federal workers to respond with five bullet points about what they accomplished last week.
“The work shows what we do, and the supervisors of this criterion that falls in describing our position. This email is not respected and unjustified.”
One of the tax authority employees said that there is a lot of confusion in her office on how to respond, but she was not troubled from the request.
“I worked to check and wrote a good report. This is a lot to spend four days,” Ain Desix said.
But it also believes that the federal government needs to cut some bloating.
“If we are dealing with inflation and impotence, we must give up. I am sorry, people will harm, but everyone suffers from inflation. So, I feel bad towards government employees and Desixa said:” They are a small group against the entire country. “
Part of the Ministry of Governmental efficiency, or Doge, the plan is to sell hundreds of government -owned buildings.
Congress member Mike Kogeli said that the buildings of Kloxleski and McCalf are listed on the list.
“The problem with this is that you need a place where people work. People who make sure that we have air and clean water need a place to work,” said Mike Kogeley, D Chicago. “Therefore, there is a right size. But this is not the way to do this. This is a heavy hammer, when we really need a scalpel.”
Email the effectiveness of the morale in many tank offices causes.
Targos said: “The cruel goal is, one, to frustrate us, to make us feel a defensive position. As if we were saying, as you know, we did not do anything that serves the American people.”
But now that the email order has been canceled by President Trump.
Targos said it is very frustrating because it seems to her that the lives of government workers, and the main task they serve in the Environmental Protection Agency, is just a Trump administration game.
She said it shows contempt for workers and people who serve.
