Central Michigan University Online is pleased to announce a renewed partnership with the U.S. Postal Service, providing an important educational opportunity for more than 600,000 U.S. Postal Service employees nationwide. This collaboration, which revives a relationship that began in 2014, brings new benefits and underscores CMU Online’s commitment to supporting professional development and lifelong learning.

Effective immediately, all USPS employees are eligible for a 15% tuition discount on CMU Online programs. This initiative is designed to make higher education more accessible and affordable, enabling USPS employees to improve their skills, earn advanced degrees, and achieve their career goals.

Although CMU Online and USPS have been in partnership for a decade, this renewed collaboration represents a new beginning, reflecting both organizations’ dedication to educational excellence and employee development. CMU Online offers a wide range of programs designed to meet the diverse needs of working professionals, including flexible schedules and online courses that accommodate the demanding and varied schedules of USPS employees.

“We are thrilled to renew and expand our partnership with the U.S. Postal Service,” said Caleb Patrick, interim vice president for innovation and the Internet at Carnegie Mellon University. “This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to providing exceptional educational opportunities for U.S. Postal Service employees, helping them advance their careers and achieve their personal and professional aspirations. The dedicated team at the U.S. Postal Service helps us all by delivering essential medicines, letters and packages to our doors every day. Carnegie Mellon University is proud to give back and provide learning and growth opportunities for U.S. Postal Service employees and U.S. Postal Service employees.”

CMU Online looks forward to welcoming USPS employees into our diverse and dynamic learning community, providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in today's rapidly changing world.
