A 13-year-old boy was shot and killed in a shooting in the Edgewater neighborhood Sunday evening, Chicago police said.
CHICAGO (WLS) — A 13-year-old boy was shot and killed in the Edgewater neighborhood Sunday evening, Chicago police said.
The shooting happened around 8:16 p.m. in the 6000 block of North Kenmore Street.

Officers responded to a report of a person shot at a residence and found a 13-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the head, police said.
The boy was taken to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead, police said. Authorities have not released the boy's identity.
