Abstract
A 27-year-old woman was shot in the head while fleeing gunmen in Park Manor on Thursday morning.The shooting occurred around 11:11 a.m. when two armed men approached the vehicle; the driver tried to flee but was shot by one of the men.No suspects have been arrested.
Chicago- A woman was shot in the head while fleeing gunmen in Park Manor on Thursday morning.
At approximately 11:11 a.m., a 27-year-old woman and a 30-year-old woman were sitting inside a car in the 7000 block of South Vernon when two armed men approached them, police said.
The 27-year-old driver sped away, and one of the men shot her, hitting her in the head.
She was taken to an area hospital where she died.
No other injuries were reported, and no suspects have been arrested.
Area 1 detectives are investigating.
