Chicago police said a 31-year-old woman started an argument with two other women, ages 24 and 40, on July 30 at O'Hare International Airport.
The woman shocked onlookers when she jumped over the check-in desk and threw a computer screen at Frontier Airlines employees.
Footage of the incident was posted on July 30 by another traveler, who told Storyful that the woman missed her flight and then “lost it” after staff wouldn't let her board the plane.
In the video, the woman climbs the baggage conveyor belt to the employee area and begins grabbing and yelling at a Frontier employee. After another airline employee pushes her back, the woman grabs a computer monitor from the check-in desk and throws it at employees, hitting one, and knocking another monitor to the floor. She then climbs back up, yelling “stupid!” at the Frontier employees.
Chicago police confirmed the incident, saying the suspect dropped objects on a desk, then threw a cell phone at the 40-year-old victim and struck the 24-year-old victim in the leg.
Chicago police said the suspect fled the scene and no arrests have been made. Area detectives are continuing to investigate.
ABC7 has reached out to Frontier Airlines for comment.
