CHICAGO (WLS) — A teenager has died after being ambushed on the city's West Side, Chicago police say.

The shooting happened Wednesday at about 6:14 p.m. in the 3400 block of Franklin Street, according to Chicago police.
Police said a 17-year-old boy was standing near the sidewalk when three men jumped out of a car and began shooting at him.
The teenager was shot multiple times in the head and was taken to the hospital where he later died.
No arrests have been made, and Chicago police have not provided a description of the suspects.
Chicago police are investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
