CHICAGO (WLS) — A security guard was found shot to death on duty on the city's West Side, according to Chicago police.

Police found the man around 4:09 a.m. in the 1400 block of Morgan Street in University Village on Monday morning, Chicago police said.
The 44-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso, police said. He died at the scene.
Chicago police investigators said the shooter was in a dark-colored sedan.
A spokesperson for the security company said ABC7 Chicago learned the man was a father and was standing outside the BJ Wright Court Apartments.
No other information was immediately available from police.
No one was arrested. Chicago police detectives conduct a homicide investigation.
