Chicago police issued a warning Wednesday after more than a dozen pickpocket robberies occurred in the area in December and January.
CHICAGO (WLS) — There was a new warning from Chicago police on Wednesday about an uptick in the number of thieves targeting people in the loop.

More than a dozen incidents occurred in December and this month.
Police said that in each robbery, the suspect enters a business, usually a restaurant, and takes items from the victims' bags or wallets. Many also used a stolen credit card to make fraudulent purchases at a department store immediately after the robbery.
No arrests have been made as Chicago Police continue to investigate.
