Police said two men robbed the victims at gunpoint and threatened to kill them if they did not hand over their property.
CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police have issued a community alert after a series of armed robberies in the city.
Two men robbed the victims at gunpoint and threatened to kill them if they did not hand over their property.

The suspects were driving a dark blue Land Rover Discovery with Illinois plate number DJ87261.
After the victims handed over their cell phones and wallets, the suspects fled in their cars.
The crimes occurred on the following dates and places:
– 200 blocks of 23 places on August 19 at 10:30 pm
– 300 block of Morgan Street on August 20 at 12:45 a.m.
– 200-block of Randolph Steet on August 21 at 2 a.m.
– 100-block of Randolph Street on August 21 at 2:03 a.m.
The perpetrators were described as being between 5'07″ and 5'09″ tall, wearing black clothing and ski masks and were armed with a semi-automatic pistol.
