CHICAGO (WLS) — A taxi driver was robbed after completing one of his trips in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood Thursday evening, Chicago police said.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:38 p.m. in the 7400 block of South Wabash Street.

Police said a 39-year-old man was dropping off two passengers when they pulled out a weapon and forced him out of the car.
The suspects then drove off in the victim's 2017 Dodge Journey and were taken into custody in the 9200 block of South Greenwood Avenue after a police pursuit involving Illinois State Police, police said.

The ride's driver was not injured.
One of the suspects, a 17-year-old boy, was charged with one count of car theft. District One detectives are investigating.
