CHICAGO CRIME: One man killed and another critically injured in stabbing in the South Loop at South Wabash Street, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — One person was killed and another person was taken to the hospital after being stabbed at an apartment building in the South Loop.

Chicago police said the stabbing happened around 8:50 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Wabash Street.

A Chicago Police Department official said that a man in his forties was found dead at the scene with multiple stab wounds to his body.

Chicago Fire Department officials said a 50-year-old man was found at the same location with lacerations to his arm and injuries to his head, and was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

No arrests have been made as police continue to investigate.
