CHICAGO (WLS) — A man accused of trying to rob a Chicago homeowner and then chasing him with a frying pan has now been charged.
Dramatic video of the altercation was captured on a security camera, showing Jason Williams chasing the suspect out of his home on the city's northwest side.

The video shows Williams chasing the burglary suspect out of his home using a frying pan and a swing.
He was returning home from work, just minutes away, when he received an alert from his alarm system that someone had broken into the house around 3:30 p.m. As Chicago police pulled over, Williams chased the suspect out of his home and around the yard. Officers eventually took the suspect down the street.
Brandon Williams is now charged with residential burglary and aggravated battery. Court documents show Williams is a 12-time convicted felon. He was taken to hospital for a mental health evaluation, where he spat on a nurse, aggravating the battery charge.
