CHICAGO (WLS) — A woman was shot while riding in a car on the city's southwest side on Sunday, police said.

The shooting happened around 2:45 a.m. in the 5300 block of S. Kedzie Street in the city's Gage Park neighborhood.
Police said a 37-year-old woman was riding as a passenger when she was shot in the head.
She was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
There is no one in custody. CPD District One detectives are investigating.
