CHICAGO (WLS) — A social gathering turned violent on the city's northwest side overnight into Monday.

It started Sunday night, when young people gathered in the street near Pulaski and Iowa in Humboldt Park.
Video shows hundreds of people gathering at a nearby Shell gas station.
Staff said they closed the doors because of the huge crowd.
As the crowd continued to grow, gunfire erupted around 12:46 a.m., according to police.
Surveillance video shows people hiding behind cars to avoid gunfire.
At least one other person at the gathering was carrying a weapon.
Police said the youngest victim was a 15-year-old girl who was shot in the neck and was taken to an area hospital in serious condition.
“People were trying to find out which hospital their friends and loved ones went to, and there were ambulances everywhere,” crisis responder Pastor Donovan Price said.
An 18-year-old woman was injured by a bullet in the back. A 19-year-old young woman was injured by a bullet in her arm. A 25-year-old man was shot in the buttocks; Police said that a 35-year-old man was shot in the foot, and they were all taken to the hospital and were described in good condition.
Price described the chaotic scene, saying that people's belongings were flying everywhere in a state of extreme panic.
A 33-year-old woman suffered a broken ankle as a result of the chaos, and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
One gas station employee said they called the police for help seven times; Adding that it is common for young people to gather in the area on weekends.
On Monday alone, at least 24 people were shot, two of whom died, according to Chicago police.
Seven people were also shot near 60th and Winchester streets in West Englewood.
These victims were also in their twenties and thirties.

At least 71 people were shot, nine of them fatally, in gun violence across Chicago from Friday evening to Monday morning, CPD said.
No one has been taken into custody in any of these mass shootings. CPD District Detectives are continuing their investigation.
