Four teens have now been charged in the death of a coyote earlier this month on South Sacramento Street in Mount Greenwood, officials said.
Chicago (WLS) – Four teens have been charged in the death of a coyote earlier this month on Chicago's Southwest Side.
Chicago police said the incident occurred on January 11 in the 10600 block of South Sacramento Avenue and Mount Greenwood.

Illinois Conservation Police said the teens, ages 16 and 17, shot a coyote with a bow and stomped it.
Chicago police said they were called to the scene after witnesses claimed to see several male criminals abusing a coyote. The wolf was later found dead on private property and removed.

The teens were cited for illegally searching without supervision, illegally searching on land without permission of the owner, illegally searching within 100 yards of a home, and illegally abandoning a wildlife carcass on private property without permission.
No other information was immediately available.
