CHICAGO (WLS) — Three people were injured after a man attacked them downtown on Sunday, Chicago police said.

Police said the incident occurred at approximately 3:54 a.m. in the 100 block of West Hubbard Street.
Police said two men, ages 32 and 29, and a 28-year-old woman got into an argument with a 40-year-old man.
The 40-year-old allegedly attacked the three victims. He was detained.
The 32-year-old man had a cut on his face; The 29-year-old man was suffering from swelling in his right eye. The woman had a cut on her upper lip.
The three victims were taken to the hospital in good condition and released.
Three Chicago Police District detectives are investigating.
