The police said the victim, a 13 -year -old boy, was found with a gunshot wound in the buttocks.
Chicago (WLS) – A teenager was shot and seriously injured on Wednesday while he was on the CTA Red Line train on the southern side of the city.
CTA officials said on Wednesday evening that the trains were bypassing Garfield Station on Garfield Street near Fuller Park and Anglo.

Chicago police said that the shooting occurred at about 8:30 pm in 200 wins from West Garfield Street inside the CTA train.
The police said the victim, a 13 -year -old boy, was found with a gunshot wound in the buttocks. He was transferred to Kumer Children's Hospital in serious condition.
There were no arrests with the Chicago police continuing to investigate.
There was no other information available immediately.
