Grammy Award winner Cee Lo Green, regional Mexican music stars Yahritza Y Su Essencia, and Australian alternative rock band Atlas Genius are the headliners at Taste of Chicago.
The city’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events announced the full lineup of musicians and food vendors for the festival, which will take place Sept. 6-8 in Grant Park on Friday. Other performers at the three-day festival include Palestinian-American singer-songwriter Amira Jazira, singer-songwriter and producer Asha Emono, EDM/reggaeton star MJ Nebreda and Chicago singer-songwriter Gabacho.
Additionally, 40 food vendors and an additional array of food trucks will provide the festivities for the event, which also features plenty of family fun.

Prior to the lakeside event, two more neighborhood food tasting events will take place — at Marquette Park (6743 S. Kedzie Ave.) from noon to 9 p.m. on July 27, and at Pullman Park (11101 S. Cottage Grove Ave.) from noon to 8 p.m. on August 17. These events will feature a variety of food vendors/trucks, music, Chicago SummerDance classes, and a kids’ area.
