The authorities said that the 17 -year -old was injured in a shooting on Tuesday afternoon near a high school in the Avalon Park neighborhood of Chicago.
According to the police, a 17 -year -old boy was walking on the sidewalk at 4:17 pm in the 2000 East Street building near the Chicago Secondary School when she pulled a car and an unknown gunman opened inside the fire.
Officials said that the teenager was shot in the buttocks and was transferred to the Next Hospital for Children, where he was included in a fair condition.
The shooting is under investigation by the detectives in the area, and it is not known whether the suspect is in the reservation.
