A person was killed today, Sunday, in a shooting accident in the Gharbia region.
The incident happened around 2 a.m. in the 1500 block of North Magnolia Street, according to Chicago police.
Police said someone in a car shot a man in the other car.
The police said that the young man, whose age was unknown, was shot in the chest. He was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
Officials did not share any additional information about the circumstances of the accident.
The alleged shooter fled the scene. Fifth District detectives are investigating.
